Almtrawler 1320 AD

The 1200 AD has no rear saloon, but a covered rear deck and an extra cabin beneath the wheel house. This trawler has a double-chine hull.

Hull

The hull is constructed of 5mm steel sheet. 4mm steel sheet has been used for the superstructure. Trusses and deck beams (at 40cm intervals) are made of T-bar. Angle bars support the floor. The keel sole is 10cm.

The hull supplied includes the following components:

Ready to sail

As standard, two built-in 130hp PERKINS engines with hydraulic reduction gearboxes are included. Intercooling with wet exhausts. The engines are operated via a single control lever.

Two engine instrument panels. Two 3-blade propellers with water lubricated stainless steel propeller shafts.

Double hydraulic steering with one teak and one stainless steel helm. Stainless steel drinking water tank with manhole (1,100 litres). Two 200A batteries. Rubber fender around the boat.

Fully glazed

Windows in aluminium frames. Centre-front wheel house has a three-quarter hinged window. Six portholes in the deckhouse, of which four are hinged, and four hinged portholes in the second cabin. One emergency hatch in the deckhouse. One 2-piece glass/aluminium lower facade in the rear wall of the superstructure. Two teak or aluminium sliding doors in the wheel house. One access hatch to the fly bridge.

Comprehensively finished

The entirety of the ship above the waterline has been insulated with mineral wool, with the exception of the engine room, in which soundproofing has been installed. Teak is used as standard for all joinery, although mahogany, cherry wood or ash is also possible. The ceilings are finished with plastic panels. Inside, the joinery is finished with rounded corners, decorative frames, curtain trim etc. The deck box cover is made of solid teak.

Layout can be designed in complete compliance with the client’s wishes.

The standard layout is:

Fore:
Three separate two-person cabins, hall, one shower/toilet and one extra toilet, both equipped with plastic walls and floors, a hand-pump toilet, a shower mixing-tap and a built-in washbasin.
Wheel house:
Deckhouse with corner seat, table, wall units and a U-shaped kitchen with a plastic work surface, a stainless steel sink with mixing tap and a thermally insulated four-burner stove. Wheel house with helm and seat. Also stairs to the upper deck, under which is a cupboard and 100-litre fridge.

Electrics:
24V, consisting of the halogen spotlights, cabin reading lights, 2 x deck lighting, navigation lighting, engine room lighting, sufficient plug sockets, switch panel, fuse box, water pressure system, cooker hood, boiler, two windscreen wipers, horn, depth sounder & log, gas detector, bilge, shower and waste-water pumps.

Paintwork and protective layers:

The exterior of the ship is stellated and primed with a coat of epoxy. The ship is painted using two-component AWLGRIP (Sikkens) paint in the colour of your choice. The interior joinery is triple-varnished with silky gloss varnish.

Soft furnishings:

Polyether matresses (sg. 35), 12cm thick with damask covering. Custom-shaped cushions with a choice of covers. Client can select from a wide range of curtains and carpeting.

Miscellaneous:

Hot-air heating, stainless steel waste water tank, 3-metre aluminium mast, hand-operated windlass with anchor and 30m chain. 3 fire extinguishers, 4 fenders, 4 mooring posts, flagpole and flag. Gas canister, windscreen and covers for the outdoor dashboard and helm.
